Amplify Your Voice: A Call for This Hour

ree

I was praying the other morning and the phrase “amplify your voice” kept ringing in my ear. It hasn’t left me since.

The events of last week have been sobering. For those of us who see with spiritual eyes, it has been a wake-up call—a jolt out of any lingering apathy. Many are recognizing the spiritual weight of what took place on September 10th. The enemy has been working tirelessly to silence the voice of the Church. His strategies aren’t new. They come dressed as insecurity, fear, intimidation, health battles, or the temptation to shrink back in false humility—afraid to stir the pot or make waves.

But the spirit of murder that raised its head last week is a clarion call to action. This is not a time for passivity but for the people of God to rise, put on the full armour, and take their place on the front lines. What the enemy intended for evil, the Lord will turn for good. What Charlie Kirk carried—a bold passion for Truth and a commitment to respectful dialogue—we are now called to carry forward. His voice is not silenced; it echoes as a reminder that our voices are needed more than ever. The prophetic signs of the times are unfolding before our very eyes, and Jesus is coming soon. There is an urgency in this hour to stand in the gap in prayer for our leaders, speak up for what we believe in, and spread the love of Jesus.

This moment is bigger than one man.

Some have questioned why many have rallied so passionately around the loss of one leader when hundreds of Christians were slaughtered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo recently, and while countless lives continue to be taken in Israel and the Palestinian territories and around the globe—stories that quickly fade from the news cycle and collective memory. These cries matter too. Every life matters. While we honour Charlie, we must also recognize that what is stirring is far more than grief over one man—it is a spiritual awakening that is sweeping across nations. God is shaking the earth. He is calling His people out of slumber and into boldness, from silence into proclamation, from fear into Holy fire. Enough is enough with the immorality that has made its home in our homes, community and nations. The boundary lines are becoming clear.

Darkness cannot overcome light (John 1:5)!

And here is the truth: revival is already breaking out. People are opening their Bibles for the first time. They are coming back to church. Repentance is flowing like water. All across the globe, in places the media will never show, there are pockets of believers rising in prayer, praise, and unity. This is not hype—it is holy. This is not coincidence—it is Kingdom. Nothing can stop it.

So where do we start? Don’t overcomplicate it. Amplify your voice.

  • In your home. Begin where you are. Pray over your children. Speak blessing over your spouse. Share the Word around your dinner table. Love your family well. “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).

  • In your worship. Praise and sing even when you don’t feel like it. Your voice in worship shakes the heavens. “Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger” (Psalm 8:2).

  • In prayer. Intercede for your community, your leaders, and the nations. Your prayers matter more than you know. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

  • In your community. Ask the Lord to open doors for conversations. Carry Christ’s love to your workplace, your neighbourhood, your friendships. Be bold enough to say His name. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).

  • In your nation. Write. Post. Vote. Show up. Use your influence, however small it may feel. God can multiply your voice. “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute” (Proverbs 31:8).

This is not a time to sit in paralyzing grief but to rise with hope anchored in Jesus. The question is not if God is moving—He already is. The question is:

What is the message God has placed in your heart for this hour? Don’t keep it hidden. Amplify it—in your home, in your church, in your community, and to the nations. Someone’s breakthrough may be waiting on the sound of your voice.

The hour is urgent, the opportunity is great. May we not let this moment slip by. For the Word assures us:

“This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).

And friends, that time is drawing near—Jesus is coming soon.
